Boots the Chemist had a very nice brand - An Original Formula - which was supposed to be made from all natural products.
Pretty revolutionary in those days.
But the packaging was quite beautiful. And this is a soap box.
I remember the Boots "an original formula" range in the early to mid eighties and then it disappeared off the shelves. It was a fairly extensive range and prettily packaged. They did gift sets in the range for christmas and as a teenager, I always hoped to get one.....no such luck. There was a series on TV called " The country diary of an Edwardian lady" and for a while it rode off the back of that, the range must have disappeared around 1987.
