Exotic Packaging: Bronley Lemon Soap

Bronley lemon soaps were famously lemon-shaped.
I can only suppose they must have been expensive because we almost never had this soap at home.

My Purple Velvet Box

I've always liked stories where golden caskets overflow with jewels and ropes of seed pearls, or trunks are filled with richly coloured silks and satins and velvets scented with otto of roses and orris root. Or maybe a forgotten treasure chamber is discovered behind a locked door in a lost or ruined castle.
A lot of my things live in spider-proof plastic boxes, but I can have an imaginary velvet box for my treasures. And here it is.

I would love to know what you think about my slightly random posts.

I recently found my mother's 1970s-1980s collection of soap packaging. I hope you enjoy it.

Leave me a comment. Why not?
